Fuel prices continue to rise

Mumbai/New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): Relief for citizens in terms of purchasing fuel has not yet come. This is due to prices of petrol and diesel rising on a daily basis. The prices of fuel in Delhi and Mumbai have once again hiked. Petrol in New Delhi is being sold 28 paise higher at Rs. 81.91 per litre, and diesel at Rs. 73.72 per litre after a hike of 18 paise. In Mumbai, the price of petrol has mounted to nearly Rs. 90 per litre, while diesel is retailing at Rs 78.26 per litre respectively. A commuter in Mumbai said, “The prices keep on rising on a daily basis. Bad days have come and good days were never there. Because of hike in fuel prices the prices of vegetables have also gone up.”Another in Delhi said, “Till the prices reach Rs 100, Modi government’s eyes will not be opened. They need money to tour the world and that they will do with people’s money only.”
