Fuel prices continue to decline on Tuesday

New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): In what could bring respite to citizens, fuel prices witnessed reduction on Tuesday. In Delhi, petrol price was slashed by 10 paise to retail at Rs 81.34 per litre, while diesel is being sold 07 paise lower at Rs 74.85 per litre. Price of petrol has been reduced by 10 paise to retail at Rs 86.81 per litre, while diesel is being sold at Rs 78.46 per litre after a 08 paise cut in Mumbai. In Delhi, all 400 petrol pumps along with linked CNG dispensing units remained shut from 6 am on Monday till 6 am on Tuesday, in protest against Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government’s refusal to reduce Value Added Tax (VAT) on diesel and petrol in the national capital.
