Expect ‘swift action’ by RBI to revive Yes Bank: Governor Shaktikanta Das

Mumbai, Mar 06 (ANI): After Reserve Bank of India placed Yes Bank under a month-long moratorium, Governor Shaktikanta Das said that people can expect “swift action” by the central bank to revive the private lender. While speaking to media persons, Das said, “RBI has issued press statements yesterday and they explained our decision and it will be done very swiftly. The 30 days which we have given is the outer limit, you will see very swift action from the RBI to put in place a scheme to revive the Yes Bank.” Reserve Bank of India imposed a month-long moratorium on Yes Bank citing ‘serious deterioration in its financial position’ on March 05, and capped withdrawal limit at Rs 50,000.
