Equity indices open in green, Sensex up by 428 points

Mumbai, May 05 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices opened in green on May 05 with Sensex up by 428.51 points and Nifty by 135.00 points. At 9:29 AM, the BSE Sensex was up by 428.51 points or 0.77 per cent at 56,097.54. The 50-scrip NSE Nifty was trading at 16,812.60, at 9:29 AM, up by 135.00 points or 0.81 per cent.
