Centre approves PLI Scheme for auto industry

New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): The central government has approved Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for auto industry on September 15. “The government has approved Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for auto industry, auto-component industry, drone industry to enhance India's manufacturing capabilities. The PLI scheme has a budgetary provision of Rs 26,058 crores - Rs 25,938 crores for the auto sector and Rs 120 crores for the drone industry,” said Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur.
