Celebrations at BSE after Sensex, Nifty close at all time high

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Oct 25 (ANI): Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) immersed in celebrations after Sensex breached the 33000 mark for the first time in history and Nifty ended at an all time high after the government's Rs9 trillion package lit up banking and infra stocks. The Sensex closed at 435.16 points up at 33,042.50, while the NSE Nifty index settled 87.65 points up at 10,295.35. Meanwhile, the PSU Bank index increased by 23 percent, against the backdrop of the Rs 2.11 lakh crore-worth recapitalisation of Public Sector Banks (PSBs) plan that was announced by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday.
