New Delhi, Feb 01 (ANI): NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant called the Budget 2021-22 a “very practical, rational and progressive.” Amitabh Kant said that the budget not only accelerate the country in pre-COVID period recovery stage but also provide a direction for 3-4 yrs. “Superb Budget! It'll not only accelerate us in pre-COVID period recovery stage but also provide a direction for 3-4 yrs. Government focussed on infrastructure and asset monetization this time. This shows government's thinking that it's essential to involve private sector in long run. It's a very practical, rational and progressive budget. Most importantly, tax has not been tampered with and no new cesses have been imposed,” said NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant while speaking to ANI.
