Budget 2019: Farmers demand subsidy, adequate water supply and crop insurance

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 31 (ANI): Interim Finance Minister Piyush Goyal will present budget for 2019 on February 1. The farmers said that they are hopeful of the budget and it should be in favour of farmers. “We need adequate water for cultivation of our crops, as we frequently face crisis’, said a farmer. “Central Ministry should provide adequate price for our crops and we should also get insurance”, said another Bhopal-based farmer Akhilesh Mudgil.
