Budget 2019: ‘Ann daata ko kyun oorja daata bana nahi sakte?’ asks FM on agricultural infrastructure

New Delhi, July 05 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for 2019-2020 in the national capital today. While addressing at the Lok Sabha, Nirmala Sitharaman said, “We will invest widely in agricultural infrastructure. We will support private entrepreneurship in driving value addition to farmers produce and those from allied activities too, like bamboo, timber and also for generating renewable energy. ‘Ann daata ko kyun oorja daata bana nahi sakte’?.”
