New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): The government launched phase two of BharatNet on Monday aiming to provide high speed internet to all the panchayats by the end of 2019. Telecom giants such as Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular have contributed to hire infrastructure in gram panchayats to provide broadband services. Phase two of the project is planning to set up wifi in every village, for which the tenders will be flouted by the government. The equipments, fibre, electronics used in BharatNet are all indigenous.
