According to the company's executive, in 2017 sellers on Amazon made more than a quarter of their revenue from selling to other countries. That's up more than 50 percent from the previous year. Analysts estimate that it’s between $50 billion and $75 billion. And, number two, it could improve their profitability from day one," said Senior Research Analyst, D.A. Davidson Companies Tom Forte. The cross-border sales increase outpaced Amazon’s 31 percent rise in overall net sales in 2017.
