Agriculture loans worth Rs 86,600 crore approved in Mar-Apr alone: FM Sitharaman

New Delhi, May 14 (ANI): Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on May 14 informed that 63 lakh loans worth Rs 86,600 crore from the agriculture sector were approved in the period of March and April, when COVID-19 hit hard the farmers of the country. Sitharaman revealed the details in a press conference in which she announced measures for migrant labourers and rural economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.
