In a significant boost to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Delhi Assembly Elections, over 500 young leaders from Delhi have joined the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under the banner of "Youth Connect with Delhi Dehat" on Wednesday.
In a unique initiative, PM Modi also had lunch with the young leaders and had insightful discussions on the lunch table. Young girls from the north east region also interacted with the PM during the lunch.
He engaged with 3,000 dynamic young leaders from across India. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, he highlighted the vibrant energy of India's youth, which had brought life and energy at the venue. He remarked that the entire nation is remembering and paying tribute to Swami Viveka
Speaking at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, PM Modi urged young leaders to set ambitious goals and actively contribute to achieving them, while expressing his faith in their intelligence.
"Mera vishwas kehta hai ki yuva shakti ka samarth, bharat ko jald se jald viskit rashtra banayega. (My belief is that the power of youth will make India a developed nation as soon as possible)," the PM said.
