New Delhi [India], January 12 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the role of the country's youth towards nation-building on Sunday, expressing confidence in 'Yuva Shakti' turning the country into 'Viksit Bharat' very soon.
He was interacting with around 3000 individuals present at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
"Mera vishwas kehta hai ki yuva shakti ka samarth, bharat ko jald se jald viskit rashtra banayega. (My belief is that the power of youth will make India a developed nation as soon as possible)," the PM said.

Likening his relationship with young people as of a 'Param Mitra,' he added, "The strongest bond in a friendship is that of 'Vishwas' (trust)."
"I have a lot of faith in you and this faith has inspired me to set up the 'MYBharat.com,' this faith has formed the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue," the PM added during his speech.
My Bharat is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, meant to empower Indian youth through social mobility, educational equity, and practical skills.
Saying that the energy of the youth is palpable and felt across the venue, the PM paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda.
"Today, with the energy of the youth power of India, this Bharat Mandapam has also become filled with energy and has become energetic. Today, the whole country is remembering Swami Vivekananda and paying tribute to him," he mentioned.
PM Modi also recalled the struggle of those who fought for India's independence. "The people of India took a pledge to get freedom. What was the strength of the British Empire, what did they not have...But the country stood up, started living the dream of independence and the people of India showed it by achieving independence."
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister also visited the exhibition at the Dialogue and interacted with various participants.

Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is a two-day program, organised at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.
It began with a grand inaugural session attended by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse, Anand Mahindra, Palki Sharma, S Somnath, Pawan Goenka, Amitabh Kant and Ronnie Screwvala. The ceremony opened with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda, whose enduring ideals continue to inspire the nation's youth.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue aims to break the 25-year-old tradition of holding the National Youth Festival conventionally. It aligns with the Prime Minister's Independence Day call to engage 1 lakh youth in politics without political affiliations and provide them with a national platform to turn their ideas for a Viksit Bharat into reality.
Prime Minister has also released a compilation of the best essays written by participants on the ten themes. These themes encompass diverse areas such as technology, sustainability, women empowerment, manufacturing, and agriculture. (ANI)
