The Chadi for the Machail Mata pilgrimage reached the Chasoti area in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district on Wednesday, where a devastating cloudburst occurred on August 14, claiming over 60 lives. Rescue operations are still underway.
The 16-day yatra is aimed at raising awareness about alleged irregularities in the voter list and what opposition leaders are calling a case of 'vote chori' (vote theft). Covering over 1,300 km across 20 districts, the yatra is scheduled to conclude in Patna on September 1.
The Yatra, continuing for the fifth day, reached Sheikhpura earlier today. Leaders of the party, along with leaders of alliance partners Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) participated in the rally.

According to Tejashwi Yadav, this bill is a ploy to "blackmail and intimidate" certain leaders, specifically naming Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Earlier today, Opposition leaders reacted sharply to the government's move to bring several bills in the Lok Sabha today, saying that it is a "desperate attempt" to distract attention from the 'Vote Adhikar Yatra' of LoP Rahul Gandhi.
"It has become their habit to talk with disruptive thinking. Bihar is very ahead in political thinking, they understand everything. Bihar is a tourist spot for them. When elections come, they go there, and then they leave like that," the BJP MP told ANI at Parliament premises.
