Assam Rifles made a huge contribution to the anti-drug campaign in Tripura by recovering 2,60,000 Yaba tablets from general area Khayerpur on September 26. The successful operation also resulted in the seizure of one vehicle.
Assam police on Saturday arrested two persons after recovery of 18,000 YABA tablets and 2 kg Crystalline Methamphetamine worth Rs 15.5 crore in Assam's Cachar district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a post on X.

The Assam Police conducted an anti-narcotics operation in the Jalalpur area on Monday, where the officials seized 1 lakh Yaba tablets and arrested three accused individuals who were allegedly carrying the yaba tablets, according to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
