Security was beefed up and checking of vehicles intensified in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir after suspected terrorists attacked an army convoy on Friday.
The Indian Army's White Knight Corps official handle posted on X and informed that there were no casualties and a search operation by Army and Jammu and Kashmir police is underway.
"White Knight Corps foiled an infiltration bid in the IB sector of Khour, Akhnoor. A suspected move by four terrorists was seen through the surveillance devices on the night of December 22-23," the White Knight Corps of the army posted on X.

White Knight Corps on Friday said that it salutes the bravery and supreme sacrifice of four soldiers, killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
"In an unfortunate incident, Agniveer Amritpal Singh died while on sentry duty in Rajouri Sector, due to a self inflicted gun shot injury," the White Knight Corps said in a post on 'X'.
Indian Army on Sunday said the bodies of two soldiers, who went missing after they were swept away by rain-triggered flash floods, were recovered from the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
"Indian Army foiled yet another attempt of narco-terror smuggling by recovering 10 packets of narcotics near Line of Control in Poonch Sector," a White Knight Corps statement said.
Two terrorists have been neutralised so far following the killings of six civilians in the terror attack of January 1 this year, the White Knight Corps official said on Saturday.
