"Another Western Disturbance will start affecting from tomorrow which will lead to heavy snowfall and rainfall in the mountain regions. Rainfall and snowfall may be expected between 75 to 100 per cent of the stations," IMD Scientist Naresh said on Friday.
Heavy rain and snowfall are expected in the mountain regions of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttarakhand in the coming days due to the western disturbance, said the India Meteorological Department on Wednesday.
Despite a gradual decrease in cold intensity, IMD projected ongoing foggy mornings, cold days, and cold wave conditions across the plains for at least the next two days.
