Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday criticised the Aam Aadmi Party government over the waterlogging situation in Delhi following the rains, saying that the people of Delhi are once again suffering due to the negligence of the Delhi government.
Delhi Minister Atishi wrote to the Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw on Tuesday on the issue of severe waterlogging under the Zakhira underpass in Delhi.
Severe traffic congestion was witnessed in several parts of Delhi following a heavy downpour on Tuesday.

Heavy rain leads to waterlo
Rain lashed several parts of Delhi on Saturday evening bringing respite from heat and humidity. Many areas of the national capital also witnessed waterlogging causing traffic snarls.
The weather department has forecast rain showers accompanied by storms and lightning adding that monsoon winds are expected to enter upper and middle areas of the country.
A red alert has been issued in Sawai Madhopur, Karoli and Bharatpur. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted alongwith thunderstorms at isolated places in these areas. As per the IMD, waterlogging is also expected in the areas which could affect the daily lives of the people.
