The spiritual leader further told ANI on Monday that the various hindu leaders have "only asked for two things," namely the creation of a sanatan board and the abolition of Waqf board.
In a post on X, Owaisi pointed out that these sites, including dargahs and burial grounds, were officially recognized in government records and the demolitions were carried out in violation of Supreme Court orders.

Sadhvi Rithambara, founder of Param Shakti Peeth and Vatsalyagram criticised any claims made on the Maha Kumbh 2025 land on Sunday, saying that the place is a place to get 'Dharam' and 'punya' and said that all properties under the Waqf board should be transferred over to the government.
Replying to the claim, VHP's Bansal told ANI, "One is saying that conversions are taking place, while the other is claiming that it (Maha Kumbh) is being organised on Waqf Board land. This Kumbh has been organised since the time Islam did not exist. This exposes the Waqf Board."
