New Delhi [India], December 31 (ANI): Delhi Congress president Devendra Yadav hit out at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after the announcement of 'Pujari Granthi Samman Yojna' and alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener has been "exposed in front of the people of Delhi as the promises have not been fulfilled".
"Clerics haven't yet received their salaries. Senior citizens are looking for their pensions, employees have not received their ration cards, tap water is not clean, Yamuna is still polluted. Several schemes can be introduced but Kejriwal ji is fully exposed in front of the people of Delhi," he alleged.
"The country is built by contributions from people of every religion. Our policy is to move forward with people belonging to every religion. BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have always in some way or the other talked about division," he added.
Kejriwal on Tuesday launched the registration for Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. He visited the Shri Marghat Wale Baba Mandir at Kashmere Gate along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal to start the registration for the scheme.
He said under the Yojana priests of temples and the 'granthis' of the Gurudwara will receive an honorarium of about Rs 18,000 per month. He said earlier that the scheme would be implemented if the AAP from the government wins in the upcoming polls in the national capital.
Delhi is expected to face assembly polls early next year. (ANI )
