Polling parties left for their respective booths across Maharashtra on Tuesday as the state prepares to conduct its 2024 Assembly elections and elect a new government.

Notably, nine seats in Uttar Pradesh including Meerapur, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Karhal, Sishamau, Phulpur, Katehari and Majhawan in Uttar Pradesh will go to voting on November 20 with results set to be declared on November 23.
Nashik District Magistrate Jalaj Sharma said "As per the information received so far, Rs 1.98 Crores have been seized from there. Expenditure Observer and team are taking further action..."
Campaign ended on Monday for the Maharashtra and second phase of Jharkhand assembly polls as also 15 assembly bypoll seats with voting due to take place on November 20.
