Prime Minister Narendra Modi while interacting with beneficiaries of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi engaged in pleasantries with a 'divyang' entrepreneur at the programme.
A day after flagging off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in five states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday asserted that if the 140 crore countrymen take a resolve to make the nation developed then by 2047 India will surely become 'Viksit'.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi on Sunday on a two-day tour. He was received by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. From the airport, both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister proceeded to the Cutting Memorial Ground.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted and addressed the beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra via video conferencing today. During the programme, the Prime Minister flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram.

Speaking to the mass audience via video conferencing, the Prime Minister said, "I want to make this yatra reach each and every poor person in the village and the cities. In 2047, when India will complete 100 years of independence, we have to make sure that this country will be developed."
The yatra started in other states earlier, and its launch in the five states got delayed due to the model code of conduct in place due to the elections.
