Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the exhibition stalls set up for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme in the Surajkund area of Gorakhpur district on Saturday.
"In Kerala, I had the privilege of interacting with beneficiaries of the Ujwala scheme, Mudra Yojana and other schemes, and I think the message is clear that this is a unique scheme where people don't have to go to the government, but the government comes to the people."
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was launched by the Prime Minister on November 15 with the aim of disseminating information about the government's flagship schemes and ensuring their benefits reach every corner of the country.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Suryabanshi Suraj has alleged that a Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra vehicle, meant to showcase the success of the Central government's schemes, was vandalised in Odisha's Dhamnagar by the workers of the ruling Biju Janata Dal.
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said that the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' has witnessed significant participation, surpassing 3.2 million individuals as of January 2nd, as per an official statement released on Thursday.
