Earlier Union Minister and HAM(S) founder Jitan Ram Manjhi on Sunday met Dharmendra Pradhan in Delhi, while ruling out any talks on cabinet berths, asserting that Nitish Kumar will be the face for the Chief Minister's post.
In a post on X, Nitish thanked voters and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Rashtirya Lok Morcha and Hindustani Awam Morcha.
"SIR wasn't an issue at all. They should be aware of the ground reality. The people of Bihar have rejected them, and they have created such a face in Bihar that they were bound to be rejected by the people of Bihar," Kushwaha said.

He mentioned that every citizen of the state has voted for a developed Bihar under the guidance of the NDA. Choubey also appealed to the voters to come out in numbers and participate in the voting process.
Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha's wife, Snehlata Kushwaha, is contesting from Sasaram as the NDA candidate, while Satendra Sah of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is representing the Mahagathbandhan.

The voter turnout in Bihar for the first phase of the assembly elections stands at 53.77 per cent as of 3:00 PM, according to data shared by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
