The meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Law and Justice began on Monday in the Parliament to discuss the issue of the Uniform Civil Code.
The UCC calls for the formulation of one law for India, which would be applicable to all religious communities in matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, and adoption.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Goyal said that it is the need of the hour that a law should be made by uniting and including all the people of the country and the Supreme Court has also endorsed it many of its verdicts.
