Two fatalities were confirmed, six individuals are missing amid heavy rainfall and rising water levels, near the Manuni stream in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district.

Wahib Abu Arar, 26, was killed after he opened fire at police with a 16-gauge rifle. Another unnamed 27 year old is now dead too, with the cause of death remaining unclear, and a 25 year old was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
According to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), "We received information that a car carrying 4 people fell into about 900 meters deep ditch and crashed in Chakrata, Dehradun ."
Superintendent of Police (SP) Harsh Poddar stated that a police team was quickly dispatched to the location after receiving the information about the incident.
