DMK spokesperson TKS Elangovan on Monday criticised TVK chief and actor Vijay for meeting the families of victims who died in the Karur stampede at a hotel, stating that the affected people were visiting Vijay.
The Karur stampede on September 27 claimed the lives of atleast 41 people and left several people injured. The incident took place at Velusamypuram, at the Karur-Erode Highway, after a large crowd gathered for the political rally.
The families of those who lost their lives in the tragic Karur stampede incident are being brought to Chennai to meet Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader and actor Vijay. The meeting will happen tomorrow in Mamallapuram.
