In a decisive move against drug trafficking, the Tripura Police have successfully intercepted a lorry carrying 515 kilogrammes of ganja. The seizure was made by the Kumarghat police station as the vehicle, a six-wheeled lorry was en route from Agartala to Guwahati on Sunday night.
The operation, spearheaded by SP Bhanupada Chakraborty, led to the confiscation of 10,000 Yaba tablets with an estimated market value of approximately 50 lakh rupees.
