New Delhi [India], July 28 (ANI): In a significant achievement for Tripura, the 'Aamar Sarkar' web portal, launched by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, has been selected as one of the five best practices among all the participating states in the Chief Ministers' Conclave.
The pioneering initiative of state government 'Aamar Sarkar' was presented as best practice in promoting good governance by Chief Minister Manik Saha in the Chief Minister's Conclave chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, July 27th in New Delhi.
The Chief Minister's Conclave was attended by more than 20 Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states in the country.
The 'Aamar Sarkar' initiative of the state government is lauded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers in the conclave and it is likely to be replicated in other states as the best practice.
'Aamar Sarkar' is an innovative approach launched by the state government in November 2022 to redress public grievances through an online platform exclusively dedicated to rural people.
It has the facility to lodge complaints online as well as through a mobile application, upload geo-referenced photographs and track the complaints online. These complaints are addressed to the field officers of the 81 line departments in the state.
These complaints are to be resolved by the field functionaries within four days; otherwise, they are escalated to the senior officers of the concerned departments. Once work is completed, it is to be verified and certified by the head of the department before the complaint is closed.
To enable people to identify the issues, weekly "Village Walks" are conducted every Thursday and 'Aamar Sarkar Day' is observed every Monday in each of the 1,176 Gram Panchayats and village committees.
As per the data provided by the Rural Development (Panchayat) Department, in the last 21 months, a total of 52,992 issues were raised by the rural people of the state, out of which 95 per were resolved. (ANI)
