The BJP alleged that the report expresses what could be a massive Rs 100 crore scam in the disbursal of flood relief funds in Malda district under the TMC regime.
"If they (TMC) have any issue against the SIR (Special Intensive Revision), they should tell the Election Commission, and the Election Commission has responded to everything. They couldn't raise any logical questions", he stated.
The development comes amid an escalating political confrontation between the TMC and the BJP over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the state's electoral rolls.
