Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday hoisted the tricolour at his Madhya Pradesh residence as part of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign ahead of Independence Day.
Ahead of Independence Day, Bhaderwah valley on Wednesday saw a vibrant Tiranga Rally organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police, with SDPO Bhaderwah leading police, students, and locals waving a 100-meter national flag, spreading patriotism and unity.
The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, on August 11, announced the 4th edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, launched under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, to inspire citizens across the nation to bring the Indian National Flag, the Tiranga, into their homes and hearts.
The serene valley of Menchuka came alive on Tuesday with patriotic fervour as the Indian Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Indian Air Force (IAF), and the Civil Administration came together to organise a spectacular Har Ghar Tiranga Rally as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
Recently, in a display of patriotism and national unity, a Mega Tiranga Rally was organised at Teetwal, near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district, as part of the ongoing 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative.
The Chief Minister further praised India's rapid economic rise under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership over the past 11 years, noting that "the country has moved from the 11th to the 4th largest economy in the world, with projections to reach the 3rd position by 2028."
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday took part in 'Tiranga yatra' around the Dal lake.
According to the Ministry of Culture, this year the initiative will run from August 2 to August 15, during which the government has urged the people of India to hoist the tricolour at their homes.
"I see this Cyclothon as a new flight and a new chapter for the daughters of Delhi. The Delhi government will work to ensure a bright future for the daughters of Delhi," said the Delhi CM.
