Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) MP Arun Bharti on Monday launched a sharp attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, accusing his supporters of troubling voters and questioning the party's claims of alleged vote theft.
His remarks triggered sharp condemnation from BJP leaders, who alleged that the opposition habitually attacks democratic institutions when the electoral tide turns against them.
BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday sharpened his attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, framing the ongoing Bihar assembly polls as a contest between "jungle raj and good governance".
Speaking to reporters, Akhilesh Yadav said, "Tejashwi ji is going to win Bihar and form the government. You can see the public support he has been getting. People will not let any conspiracy succeed."
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav a happy birthday, expressing hope for their joint mission to bring change, employment, equality, and progress to Bihar through their alliance ahead of the ongoing state assembly elections.
Speaking at a public rally in Madhubani, Akhilesh said, "In Uttar Pradesh, we gave laptops to young people for employment, jobs, and education. We'll tell Tejashwi Yadav ji that daughters should ride bicycles, help them study, and when they get good marks, give laptops to the young people
"My salutations to all the fortune-makers of Bihar...The future fate of Bihar will be decided by a single button you press," the RJD leader said in a written statement released by the party on X.
