BJP leader K. Annamalai has criticised the Tamil Nadu government for its handling of a case involving a private pharmaceutical company in Kanchipuram, allegedly linked to the deaths of 23 people in Madhya Pradesh and three children in Rajasthan due to a faulty drug.
Following submissions made by all parties, a bench of Justices JK Maheshwari and NV Anjaria asked the Tamil Nadu government to file a counter affidavit in response to pleas filed on behalf of the victims before reserving its decision.
