The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a petition seeking a judicial enquiry against former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi in an order passed in connection with a case.

A Bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and PS Narasimha said, "Having due regard to the above grievance, we are of the considered view that it would be appropriate if the matter is examined by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare."
"This will be an event wherein duty holders, stakeholders and beneficiaries shall engage in collaborative brainstorming, with a goal to bring in evolution by the inclusion of new methodology for upgrading the ecosystem by generating out-of-the-box open innovative ideas," a release said.
