A unique feature of the Indian Constitution, the cornerstone of India's democracy, is that every law made by the parliament can be subjected to interpretation by the Supreme Court.
"An institution thrives with time only when it functions democratically. I believe as Chief Justice of India, it is my responsibility to consult judges in the Supreme Court, High Courts and district judiciary," said CJI.
Addressing a function held in Supreme Court here to celebrate Constitution day today, the CJI said "We have to make sure justice delivery system is accessible to everyone. Indian judiciary is adopting methods to do the same. we have been adopting technology to do the same."
