Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakashi Lekhi on Sunday said the Prime Minister's Office is monitoring the ongoing situation in Israel adding "we are on the job" to bring back stranded Indian students.
Indian Naval Ship Khanjar, has safely brought back 36 Indian fishermen who were stranded 130 nautical miles from the Tamil Nadu coast in the Bay of Bengal.
A ferry flight, which left Mumbai on Wednesday and is expected to arrive at Russia's Magadan around 6.30 am on Thursday, will air-lift stranded Indian passengers to San Francisco, Air India said in a statement.

As 'Operation Kaveri' continues to bring stranded Indians back to the country from conflict-hit Sudan, another flight carrying 231 passengers landed in Mumbai on Wednesday.

An Indian Air Force C-130J aircraft with 40 passengers onboard took off from Jeddah on Sunday for New Delhi as 'Operation Kaveri' progresses further to evacuate stranded Indians from battle-torn Sudan.
