The Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal banned the film 'The Kerala Story' citing "maintenance of peace" and to avoid incidents of "hatred and violence" in the state.
"I have bought two tickets to send to Congress leaders and former Chief Ministers Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath. Those who have dubbed Zakir Naik as a peace ambassador must watch this movie," Mishra told reporters here.

After watching the movie 'The Kerala Story', Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda said that there is a new type of terrorism which is without ammunition, adding that the film exposes "poisonous terrorism".
