BPCL, Tata Steel, Titan, ITC, and Maruti emerged as the top performers among Nifty companies, contributing significantly to the positive momentum whereas Divi's Lab, HCL Technology, NTPC, Wipro, and Infosys faced declines, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market.
The Nifty 50 recorded a decline of 197.80 points, equivalent to 0.91 per cent, settling at 21,513. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex concluded the session with a substantial loss of 670.93 points, representing a 0.93 per cent decrease, and closed at 71,355.22.
The NSE Nifty 50 exhibited remarkable strength, climbing 273.95 points to close at an all-time high of 21,456.65. This upward trajectory was fuelled by robust performances in key sectors, particularly in information technology (IT), banking, and metal stocks.
A broad-based rally characterized the month of November, with Nifty gaining 5.5 per cent, closing at 20,133 levels. Notably, Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Small Cap 100 indices outperformed, registering gains of 10.4 per cent and 12 per cent, respectively.
The Sensex surged by 357.59 points, closing at 69,653.73, while the Nifty climbed 82.55 points, concluding at 20,937.65. The market displayed mixed trends among Nifty companies, with 29 advancing and 21 declining.
Options data indicates a broader trading range between 19600 to 20000 zones, with an immediate range of 19700 to 19900 zones. The weekly scenario reveals Maximum Call Open Interest (OI) at 19900, followed by 20000 strikes, while Maximum Put OI is observed at 19800, then 19700 strikes.
The Sensex marked a 5.43-point downturn, closing at 66,017.81, while the Nifty followed suit with a 9.85-point decline, settling at 19,802.00. Among Nifty companies, 25 witnessed advances, while 25 faced declines.
At the closing bell, the BSE Sensex reported a dip of 139.58 points, settling at 65,655.15, while the NSE Nifty declined by 37.80 points, closing at 19,694.00.
The benchmark BSE Sensex witnessed a downturn, shedding 187.75 points to close at 65,794.73. Similarly, the NSE Nifty50 retreated by 33.40 points, settling at 19,731.80.
Sensex soared by 306.55 points, reaching 65,982.48, while Nifty exhibited strength, closing 89.75 points higher at 19,765.20. The bullish momentum was further highlighted by advances outnumbering declines among Nifty companies.
