The Karnataka unit of the BJP slammed Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge through an 'X' post. Stating that Kalaburagi, which has been "ruled" by Kharge for more than 50 years, remains one of the most "underdeveloped" parts of Karnataka.
"Railway fares hiked!! Who bears the brunt? The daily wage workers, students, small traders, and the common man struggling under rising prices," the Chief Minister said in a post on X.
"Mallikarjun Kharge just revealed the open secret that he is the Congress National President, but he does not have power. He holds the post, but it is the family that is heard. He exposed that all the major decisions are taken by the party's high command, not the party's National President.
