With the Yamuna river in Delhi flowing above the danger mark for days creating flood-like situation across the city, Aam Aadmi Party on Friday alleged that the BJP through its government in Haryana is "intentionally" diverting the water to the national capital.
Hitting out at Kejriwal-led government over the flood situation in the national capital, Union Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs and Culture Meenakashi Lekhi on Friday alleged that the elected government failed Delhi.
Even as the national capital witnesses a flood-like situation in several low-lying areas near the Yamuna, IMD said further light to moderate rainfall is likely in Delhi, Haryana and adjoining areas during the next 5 days.

Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Atishi on Friday said that the water level of Yamuna river is receding gradually at a rate of 0.1 metre and will take a day’s time for the situation to return to normal.
"We have seen that the European Parliament held a discussion on developments in Manipur and adopted a so-called Urgency Resolution," Arindam Bagchi said while responding to media queries on the development.
"I thanked Union Minister Amit Shah for providing timely help to people of Himachal amid heavy floods. I sought more help from him as a lot of damaged has been caused in the state. He assured that the Centre will send all possible aid for the state," said Thakur.
