Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Sunday met representatives of different government school teachers' associations and advised the Directorate of Education to take a fair view of the recent transfer orders concerning teachers.
Delhi Education Minister Atishi on Thursday wrote to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and directed him to immediately withdraw the transfer order of teachers issued on July 2.
Female school teachers from Pakistan-occupied Gilgit Baltistan (PoGB) held a protest outside the Chief Minister's Secretariat in Gilgit City on Friday and demanded the vacancies in the education department be filled, local PoGB news outlet reported.
While unveiling the training programme's module in Munnar on Monday, the Minister said that 80,000 teachers will participate in this training, scheduled from May 2 to August 31.
The program will provide a chance to identify potential risks associated with AI while fostering a culture of responsible AI usage. In the training, teachers will also create their avatars to understand the concept of deepfakes while gaining insights into privacy concerns and algorithm bias,

The distribution of tabs, worth Rs 620 crore to 4,34,285 students, will take place for the next ten days across the State and MLAs, school teachers and Education Department officials will oversee the distribution in every mandal, said the CM.
