Holi celebrations in Uttar Pradesh concluded peacefully, with both festival processions and prayers taking place without any incidents, the circle officer Anuj Chaudhary said on Friday.
Sambhal Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Vandana Mishra said that the processions celebrating the festivities were carried peacefully as everyone cooperated, which sends a message of peace.
Amidst the ongoing Holi celebrations in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal, Circle Officer Anuj Chowdhary led a flag march along with other police personnel to ensure the law and order situation in the district.
Sambhal Superintendent of Police (SP) KK Bishnoi on Friday addressed arrangements for Holi celebrations in Sambhal, stating that processions for the festival will be permitted across the city.

In view of Holi and Friday namaz falling on the same day, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ketakee Singh appealed Muslims to offer Friday namaz in their homes and still if they want to offer it in mosques then they should not cry foul if they get impacted by colour.
