Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak exuded confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) will win all 80 seats in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
After the Supreme Court granted bail to AAP MP Sanjay Singh, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav hoped that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren would also get "justice."
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in the country, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has announced its candidates from Agra and Meerut.
SP has fielded Atul Pradhan from Meerut and Suresh Chandra Kadam has been made the candidate from Agra.
Samajwadi Party replaced its candidate for the Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency. The party has fielded Meera Deepak in place of Manoj Yadav. Meera Deepak will face Madhya Pradesh BJP president and sitting MP V D Sharma.
Taking a dig at the BJP-led NDA at the Centre, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday questioned why it was 'scared' of the AAP and other Opposition forces if it was so confident of going '400 paar' (beyond 400 seats) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"As far as corruption is concerned, it is a long list. Why have we not got donations? It is a new invention that ED, CBI and IT are deployed and donations are raised. The BJP will not say anything about this corruption. No one in the universe has lied as much as the BJP," Yadav said speaking
Samajwadi Party leader Mohibullah Nadvi confirmed his candidature for the Rampur constituency in the upcoming elections. Expressing gratitude towards the party leadership and the Election Commission, Nadvi stated that he is grateful.
