Delhi Commission Women chief Swati Maliwal on Sunday wrote a letter to Delhi Police Commissioner and demanded the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
The ongoing wrestler protest in the national capital has taken a new toll as star grappler Bajrang Punia said the Mahila Mahapanchayat will definitely take place in front of the new Parliament building which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.
Earlier on Friday, Congress leader Sachin Pilot had also come in support of the wrestler protesting at Jantar Mantar, Delhi. He arrived at Jantar Mantar to meet the wrestlers who were protesting against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

India's ace grapplers, including Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat among others, have been protesting at the Jantar Mantar in the national capital.
On April 23 this year the ace grapplers- Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshee Mallik- returned to the protest site at Jantar Mantar, claiming that six women wrestlers, and a minor, filed a sexual harassment complaint against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
With farmers advancing into the national capital to show solidarity with the wrestlers' protest at Jantar Mantar, ace grappler Bajrang Punia on Monday said that the protest is a "fight for the daughters of India".
