Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, justified deploying Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel in the Well of the Rajya Sabha and said that some MPs have physically taken a stand atop the treasury bench.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Friday clarified that the government is ready to hold discussions on any issue as per rules, but there cannot be a discussion on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) as it is a process undertaken by a constitutional body, the Election Commission of India.

Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju urged the Opposition to allow an uninterrupted discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha, emphasising the importance of a constructive debate on the issue of national security.
"They want to escape and before the session itself, they want to create something in people's minds that we are not in a constructive process," Chamala told ANI.
