China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian expressed condolences over the Delhi blast near Red Fort metro station, offering sympathies to the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
India's Ambassador to Bhutan, Sandeep Arya, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to continue his Bhutan visit despite the Delhi blast was deeply moving. He noted that the King of Bhutan led special prayers for India, Modi, and the victims of the Delhi blast.
Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday urged citizens to remain conscious about the safety of their environments in the wake of the Delhi blast and said last-ditch efforts by terrorists to show their relevance should be firmly defeated.
The blast, which ripped through a slow-moving Hyundai i20 near the Subhash Marg traffic signal by the Red Fort on Monday evening, killed eight people and left several others injured.
"The Karnataka government is also reviewing it, our Home Minister and Chief Minister are also reviewing the security in Karnataka. We have to be careful to maintain the peace," DK Shivakumar said.
"In this hour of difficulty, the Government of Delhi extends its deepest condolences" to all those families who have lost their loved ones and to those who have been injured in this incident, she went on to add in her post.
Investigations into the terror attack near Red Fort are progressing rapidly. Initial findings indicate that the car explosion was not a typical suicide blast, but was instead triggered in panic by the suspect.
Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate on Tuesday expressed serious concern over the recent security incidents, stating that explosive material was recovered in Faridabad on the same day the car blast took place near the Red Fort metro station.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday chaired a high-level security review into the car explosion near the Red Fort and directed security agencies to "hunt down each and every culprit" involved in the incident, saying those responsible "will face the full wrath of our agencies."
Congress leader and former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday said that the Delhi car blast that killed eight people was "unfortunate" and called for a thorough investigation, stressing that the truth must come out before the public.
