According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale hit at Rajasthan's capital city, Jaipur, around 4.10 am, and it was followed by two more earthquakes of magnitudes 3.1 and 3.4 respectively.
The latest earthquake of magnitude 3.4 occurred at around 4.25 am, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported. According to the NCS, it occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.

Talking to the media, BJP MP PP Chaudhary said, "It is shocking to see how the culprits are having the courage to do such acts. There should be a compensation of at least Rs 1 crore for the next of kin of the deceased."
