The forest fire has been spreading over large areas and remains unattended, turning hundreds of tonnes of priceless olive wood into ash creating smoke.
"Thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Narwana, Fatehabad, Barwala, Adampur, Hissar (Haryana) Bhadra (Rajasthan) during the next 2 hours," IMD said on X.

"Another Western Disturbance will start affecting from tomorrow which will lead to heavy snowfall and rainfall in the mountain regions. Rainfall and snowfall may be expected between 75 to 100 per cent of the stations," IMD Scientist Naresh said on Friday.
A thin layer of fog enveloped the national capital on Saturday morning with the mercury recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal temperature, the India Meteorological Department said.
According to the IMD, the Western Himalayan Region and select areas of Uttar Pradesh are anticipated to witness rainfall at one or two locations in the coming days.
