The rain continued to lash the Delh-National Capital Region on Friday, causing waterlogging and traffic snarls in several areas. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Friday in the national capital.
Several parts of Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region) woke up to rain on Thursday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more rain until Friday and issued a yellow alert for the city.
Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region) received incessant rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning beginning in the early hours of Wednesday.
Rain lashed several parts of Delhi on Saturday evening bringing respite from heat and humidity. Many areas of the national capital also witnessed waterlogging causing traffic snarls.
Srinagar Meteorological Centre has predicted intense spells of rain at a few places of Jammu and Kashmir with the possibility of heavy rain over a few places in the Jammu division for August 19 and 20.
